). I have to admit that I didn’t plan on seeing The Diplomat, but after hearing so many great things about it and reading the great reviews, I thought I would give it a try.

I was hooked from the very first episode

I’m so glad I did because it was great. I was actually surprised by how much I enjoyed it.

I could definitely see this series winning some awards

Even though Keri Russell was great in The Americans, I thought it was more about the writing than the acting, so I wasn’t really sure if she and Rufus Sewell could be the leads in a series, but they absolutely do, they’re both fantastic here. The chemistry between these two is what makes this show so good.
